Artist's Comments

A little while ago we decided to open our work up to others to be part of. Since we were surrounded by incredibly creative people, we did a call out to people we work with in theatre asking if they had any concepts they would like us to develop.

This concept comes from Emma Palackic.


Concept:

We photographed people with their favourite item of clothing and only that favourite item. We interviewed each person about said item as we shot. Simple, yes, but we thought it was damn spiffy.

Twenty of the models involved had never modeled before and none (bar *Halohid) had shot nudes.

A massive thankyou to *solitudoaeternus for providing the lighting equipment and teaching us to use it. We would have been lost without you, Vlad. Thankyou. Also thanks to Kristina Benton for doing everyone's hair. She had only twenty minutes on each person and did a fantastic job! We very much recommend her!

Eve's Skirt

I found it in an op-shop. A friend was going to buy it and said 'see, this skirt! I've been coming back every week to see it!' and I was all 'mm, yeah, it's okay'. Then I came back the next day and loved it and brought it for us to 'share' but she's never worn it.

This is the first time I've worn it without stockings because... yeah, whenever the wind comes up, so does the skirt.
