A little while ago we decided to open our work up to others to be part of. Since we were surrounded by incredibly creative people, we did a call out to people we work with in theatre asking if they had any concepts they would like us to develop.

This concept comes from Emma Palackic.


Concept:

We photographed people with their favourite item of clothing and only that favourite item. We interviewed each person about said item as we shot. Simple, yes, but we thought it was damn spiffy.

Twenty of the models involved had never modeled before and none (bar *Halohid) had shot nudes.

A massive thankyou to *solitudoaeternus for providing the lighting equipment and teaching us to use it. We would have been lost without you, Vlad. Thankyou. Also thanks to Kristina Benton for doing everyone's hair. She had only twenty minutes on each person and did a fantastic job! We very much recommend her!

Halohid: So tell us about your underpants, sweetpea.

Well, they don't have any elastic in them, for a start.

Halohid: How does anyone lose their virginity whilst wearing underwear?

Well, they were probably around an ankle or something. I've had them since I was eighteen so you do the maths. I was still in Wales at the time. In Cardiff, the roughest part of the country. I've never told mother about that part. His name was Sean, he was seven years older than me and it hurt like hell.

I'm always wearing these when the most dramatic romantic things happen. I was wearing them when 'The Devil' (my most recent ex) left and I wearing them when Gavin (my boyfriend) told me he loved me for the first time. He told me in Welsh and I had no idea what he was saying. He thought it would be romantic to tell me in my native language or something. He'd looked it up on the Internet on an auto-translate thing and I didn't have a clue what he was trying to say. It kind of killed the moment.
