Several of the concepts are filtering their way up now, but stay tuned for *eckyducky, *Halohid and =DalaiHarma doing very silly things with a swimming pool, more Ophelia-style shots, and most likely several behind-the-scenes incriminating images of those involved.
Thanks to:
- the glorious, hilarious Harmony Nicholas for being our official bitch (but it's okay, we made up for it by prancing around on a roundabout, in the front yard of a Christmas-bedecked house and on a large pillar with good views of the baby Jesus, all swathed in princess outfits).
- Natasha, Lauren, Claire and Lucy for being wonderful pet models.
- *Halohid's parents and family for providing an excellent house, amazing food, culture and hospitality for us, and especially to *eckyducky for the five days of her stay.
-----
On a different note, *Halohid is taking her exceptional show 'In His Own Write' to the Adelaide Fringe in March next year. I (eckyducky) saw the previous incarnation of it, and it was brilliant, inspiring and moving, and I have no doubt that it will continue to grow in preparation for its SA debut.
However, I Must Not Theatre (Halohid's theatre company) is v. poor, and as such, Halohid recently posted a little note asking for donations from her adoring public, and I'd like to extend to the TeamHyphenPants fans the opportunity to plonk in some donation money. Even five bucks will help get them over there.
Here is the copy-and-pasted text from Halohid's journal entry on the subject:
'Hello all.
Because it is Christmas, I thought I would post an appeal.
As many of you know, I have just started a theatre company called 'I Must Not Theatre' and we are taking a show to the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2009. The show is 'The John Lennon Play: In His Own Write' and I am both directing and designing it. To do this, obviously, we need money. We have been working so, so hard performing in fundraising cabarets and writing letters to organise funds and selling our various possessions but we are still have a long way to go. Now, obviously, aren't in a position to do so but if you can and if you have a desire to help support young Australian artists (no one in the company is over the age of 22) or if you have ever passed through my gallery and enjoyed what I do or have worked with my and thought 'she's a decent lass who works mighty hard', I would love you to consider making a small donation to support my company.
For those of you who don't know, I am a full time artist. I work exceptionally hard, frequently putting in 70 hour weeks in the theatre and my only 'days off' are usually spent modeling for other artists. I live off of youth allowance and use this to finance my art which is hard, believe me. Any donations would be so gratefully accepted! Consider it a gallery viewing donation, if you will or generousity or a very, VERY much appreciated Christmas present and know that you are supporting young artists get to one of the biggest Fringe Festivals in the world.'
Halohid managed to add a specky little link to the Paypal site, which I am too internet-illiterate to do, so click here to go to Halohid's relevant journal entry, where you'll find the aforementioned attractive button icon thing, as well as some amusing Youtube videos of TeamHyphenPants and friends being silly at the IHOW Fundraising Cabaret.
Good oh.
----
Hope you all had a happy Christmas, and are looking forward to the New Year! With much love,
Over and out.
*TeamHyphenPants is an account co-managed by the artists *eckyducky and *Halohid to post their collaborative projects.
